Care and maintenance: how to clean bags and accessories in leatherFIND OUT MORE
research into colour and attention to details
make every Dudubags model unique.
To preserve the leather’s technical and aesthetic qualities, clean the surface with a soft cloth and a specific product. Do not use other kinds of detergent.
Store the bag in a dry, cool place, filling it with paper to keep its shape and ensuring that shoulder straps and handles are outside the bag. Should the article come into contact with water, dry the leather as quickly as possible, patting gently with a dry cloth and leave somewhere ventilated to dry.
Leather articles must not be cleaned with water, solvents or derivatives, dry cleaned or ironed. Do not leave the article in direct contact with other leather, plastic or nylon bags, as these may alter its characteristics.
- WATER MAY LEAVE STAINS
- DRY THE BAG, FILLING IT WITH PAPER TO KEEP ITS SHAPE
- AVOID LENGTHY EXPOSURE TO SOURCES OF INTENSE, DIRECT LIGHT OR HEAT AND PROLONGED STORAGE IN A DAMP ENVIRONMENT
“Oiled" leathers may, in certain weather conditions, release oily substances. These can be removed easily with a dry cloth. In certain damp conditions, leathers with a silky, soft hand may be stained if they come into contact with materials that bleed colour.
All Dudubags leathers are natural, of excellent quality and carefully selected.
The uniqueness of every single article is enhanced by special manufacture and non-uniformity of the leather. Colour may change over time: we recommend avoiding excessive exposure to light sources or storage in a damp environment.
